The CF to IDE 44-pin Female adapter is designed for connecting a CompactFlash memory card to a 2.5-inch host interface. This unit enables the use of a CompactFlash card as a HDD in an IDE system. The adapter allows any computer that uses a 2.5-inch drive to be converted to use the shock resistant CF media instead.
