If the 256MB module is installed in the first socket you will be unable to use the PCI slot closest to the CPU/Memory card.
The following message may be displayed by your computer after the installation of your module or modules:
Non HP DIMM installed in Bank xx HP's on-site warranty does not cover problems caused by the use of non qualified DIMMs in HP NetServer.
This message appears when any memory module not manufactured by Hewlett Packard is detected by your computer. The message in no way indicates that there is a problem with your memory. You can be sure that Transcend memory is compatible with your computer. |
